MEET THE FOUNDER: ANDREW RINKE

Hello! I’m Andrew Rinke, a curious creative living in Seattle. I spent 15 years in digital marketing until a life pivot pushed me into becoming an entrepreneur.
In the spirit of transparency and community, it feels important to unveil myself! You can find my resume on LinkedIn, but these five facts will give you a better sense of my personality:
Born In Michigan: It's very convenient to point to your hand to show you where I'm from :) My mother is an artist, and my dad ran a business. They’re my source material, and I’d probably be back in Michigan except I fell in love with the mountains and Douglas firs.
First to Say Hello: Midwestern, gay, and a Sagittarius, I have no hesitation talking to strangers! Whether waiting for the bus or selling my work at a market, I find joy in connecting. You never know when a comment turns into a conversation and transforms into something new.
Fellow Artist: I'm a spray-paint artist who uses wood veneer and newspaper to create scenes in nature. I've always loved the instant gratification of spray paint along with the lack of control. After years of making art for myself or friends, I started making art for sale in 2023. I learned I had to start scaling my work and began piloting an online print shop for myself in 2025. I've paused my studio work to build Art From Here, but I have artwork in the Wharf up in Port Angeles, Washington.
Has to Trust the Process: Living a brave life demands taking risks, and my biggest risk is anticipating the unknown. There's so much I don't know and feel unsure about, but I have to believe the universe has our backs! I'm generally impatient, but I'm learning it all tends to work out. I keep showing up and taking each step as it comes :)
Loves TED Talks: A back injury confined me to the couch for a while, and TED Talks were the saving grace of free wisdom that got me through some challenging times. This one on Treasure Hunting gave purpose to my journey and this one on Task Mindsets presented an effective way to keep me focused through the pain and moving forward. Learning about the human experience never ceases to inspire and grow.
